MAS Adelaide to Kuala Lumpur again
Today I flew on MH136 ADL-KUL, on a Airbus 330-300 9M-MTE in business class, seat 6K. Flight length: 7:45 hr, 3,530 miles.
If that sounds familiar it is, besides taking MAS up to KL many times this year I also flew on MTE in early March albeit on the alternative-day, afternoon scheduled MH138. This airframe is notable for its oneworld alliance livery.
I only booked this approximately 18 hours prior to departure. Booked through Amsterdam with a few couple nights stopover in KL. Just went with the auto-allocated seat selection but upon boarding business class was quite empty so after asking sat in 1J/K for the whole flight.
It was a lovely clear sky for the morning departure as I left Adelaide back to Europe.
Unfortunately due to the late booking didn’t to preselect a meal. Standard starter and a roast chicken main.
Found some bakeries to try in KL in the in-flight magazine. Otherwise was a typically comfortable flight with Malaysia Airlines.
The only excitement came upon arriving into KL where the usually quiet immigration was anything but. For once it was definitely worth while having access to the express priority queue which itself moved quite slowly. No idea what was the cause of it.
