It may not have been snowing but it was definitely cold enough for Christmas Markets. In Frankfurt the markets are mostly concentrated around Römerberg and Paulsplatz.
We made a quick visit during the day but it of course much more special at night.
It gets a lot busier once the sun sets which just adds to the atmosphere.

While it is quite touristy there are definitely some gems to be found until you scurry back to find some warmth.
The markets are open during the lead up to Christmas until December 23 and close daily around 22.
